Sage offers a range of waxing services to remove unwanted hair quickly and as painlessly as possible. For smooth, silky skin, waxing is a better choice than shaving. Why? Because it results in hair being removed by the roots rather than just from the surface of the skin.
Sage Estheticians use a mixture of hard and soft wax depending on what area is being treated. Hair removal from waxing usually lasts for 3 to 6 weeks. With a regular waxing regimen, hair begins to grow back more sparsely and you’ll be able to increase the length of time between treatments.
If you are using Retin-A, Accutane, glycolic acid, AHA or BHA, or any derivative of these products, or undergoing microdermabrasion, photo-facials, laser hair removal, or any other specialized treatments please inform your practitioner as waxing may be contraindicated. Limit UV exposure to 24 hours before and after waxing. For all waxing procedures, hair should be ¼ to ¾ of an inch. We kindly ask you to trim before the service, if necessary.
