Does Jet Plasma hurt? NO. This is a completely pain free treatment. The treatment may feel slightly warm in some places, typically the upper and under eye.
So I need numbing cream prior to treatment? NO
Are there any side effects after the Jet Plasma treatment? There are no significant side effects following treatment. Some clients may have some slight flushing in the skin that subsides rather quickly. No visual recovery time is required after this treatment.
What are contraindications to getting a Jet Plasma treatment?
Pacemaker | Pregnancy | Hypersensitive | Cancerous lesions | Implanted Neurostimulator | Any electrical implanted device or implanted slow medication release | Actively receiving Chemotherapy or radiation. Jet should not be performed until at least 6 months after last treatment.
Can I get Jet Plasma treatments if I have BOTOX or FILLER? Clients that currently have BOTOX can proceed with a Jet Plasma treatment if you wait 2 weeks from the date of Botox injection. Clients with filler can opt to safely receive a Jet Plasma treatment two weeks after filler injections. Jet Plasma will not dissolve filler or Botox.
The client can receive Botox or filler 24 hours after Jet Plasma.
What is the AFTERCARE following a Jet Plasma treatment?
Following your treatment, the channels in the skin are open so it is important that nothing is applied to the skin for 12 hours post treatment.
NO makeup can be worn after the treatment for 12 hours.
NO skincare other than what is applied at Sage can be used for 12 hours.
Refrain from using SPF immediately after.
RECOMMENDED NO - exercise, sauna or steam for 12 hours.
How long do results last with Jet Plasma? After a series of treatments are completed and results are achieved, the final results will last 2-4 years depending on age, health, lifestyle factors, sun exposure, etc. Maintenance treatments can be done as needed.
