YOGA POLICIES + ETIQUETTE
All of us at Sage Healing Collective would like to extend our appreciation to our yoga community for your commitment to enhancing your life through yoga, movement & mindfulness. In order to maintain harmony and to preserve the environment, we present the following policies:
Yoga Etiquette
Class/Workshop registration with a valid credit card is required. This card will not be charged until the day of class. Alternate payments may be used in lieu of charging the card.
Please fill out emailed intake forms prior to class, if warranted.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to check-in and set up your mat and props.
Turn off cell phones, electronics and watch-alarms when you arrive at the studio. NO CELL PHONES IN THE STUDIO PRACTICE SPACE!
If you arrive before the previous class has finished, please observe silence.
As you settle on your mat before class, please maintain the peaceful atmosphere with silence or talk quietly.
Please remove your coat and shoes in the hallway outside of the studio.
Inform the teacher before class if you are pregnant, or have any injuries or health concerns that may require special attention.
Inform the teacher if you would rather not receive 'hands on' adjustments.
Students are expected to stay though the end of class and savasana - leaving early disrupts the flow and is distracting, disruptive, and disrespectful of the experience cultivated by the teacher and other students in class. Leaving and returning to use the bathroom is of course permitted.
Practice at your own level; if you need a rest you always have the option of child's pose. If some of the poses are too challenging or if something doesn't feel right, rest or take a more basic variation of a pose.
Photos/videos are not allowed during class without permission.
Please respect others by maintaining proper hygiene and modesty, and refrain from wearing heavy fragrance to class.
Sage reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone who is disturbing the peace and serenity of other students or staff, who practices in an unsafe manner, or who fails to follow the teacher's instructions.
